Chief Election Commissioner Rajiv Kumar on Saturday announced the upcoming Lok Sabha elections 2024 dates. The elections will take place in seven phases starting from April 19 and the last phase will be held on June 1. The Lok Sabha Elections 2024 results will be declared on June 4.
In the upcoming Lok Sabha elections, it is expected that 97 crore people (approximately) are eligible to vote.

Steps to check your name on the voter list
- Go to https://electoralsearch.eci.gov.in/ on your phone or laptop.
- Once this page gets opened, you will see three options: Search by Details, Search by EPIC and Search by Mobile.
- On selecting the option ‘Search by details’, enter the requisite details like your name, your father or husband's name, date of birth, age, gender, state, district and assembly constituency.
- Enter CAPTCHA as shown and click ‘Search’.
- If you select the option ‘Search by EPIC’, you need to choose language and enter your EPIC Number, state, and then captcha. Now, click on the search button. You can find out your EPIC number from your voter ID, which is mentioned in bold letters.
- On selecting ‘Search by Mobile’, you will have to select the State and language.
- Further, enter your mobile number which is registered with Voter ID and then enter Captcha and click on the ‘Search’ button.
- From above three ways, if your name comes up in the search result, you are eligible to cast a vote in the upcoming Lok Sabha Elections 2024. Also, make sure to carry your Voter ID to the polling booth.
