WhatsApp rolls out feature to send original quality media as a file for iPhone users

Popular Meta-owned instant messaging service is available on multiple platforms which includes Android, iPhone and the web. The company keeps on adding new features to its different clients to improve the user experience. Earlier, WhatsApp started testing a feature for its iPhone app that allows users to send original quality media as a file with a handful of users.

According to a report by WABetaInfo, this enhancement will enable users to quickly share photos and videos with their original quality, without the need of following multiple steps. With the latest update (version 23.24.73), this feature is rolling out widely for all iPhone users. This feature will be available for iOS users who install the latest update of WhatsApp from the App Store.

How to use this feature
This feature will help users to easily send original quality photos and videos as documents which are shared without compression or quality loss. To get started, open the chat share sheet, tap “Document”, and “Choose Photo or Video”.

Other features coming to WhatsApp for iPhones
Apart from this, WhatsApp users on iPhone are also getting some more features. With this update, iPhone users will be able to start voice chats without ringing everyone in large groups.
